Mirin-Style Sweet Seasoning Glazed Carrots

Take your roast carrots to the next level with Mizkan Mirin-Style Sweet Seasoning! All you have to do is drizzle the carrots with the sweet seasoning and roast until glossy. It's a delicious, umami-filled way to impress your guests!

  • 5 carrots, halved
  • 200g tender-stem broccoli
  • 100ml tbsp Mizkan Mirin-Style Sweet Season
  • 1 handful of fresh coriander, chopped (plus extra, to garnish)
  • Salt and pepper, to season
  • Boiled brown rice, to serve
  • Baked cod, to serve
  • Flaked almonds, to garnish
  1. Pre-heat oven to 200C.
  2. Add the carrots to a roasting tray with the Mirin-Style Sweet Seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix to make sure everything is coated.
  3. Roast for around 10 minutes and then add the broccoli to the tray too. Cook for a further 25 minutes or until the veg is cooked, turning the veg every so often.
  4. Remove from the oven and mix in the coriander.
  5. Serve with boiled rice and baked cod. Top with more coriander and the almonds. Enjoy!
