White Miso & Sesame-Glazed Baked Aubergine

Melt-in-the-mouth roasted aubergine topped with sweet and nutty Mizkan White Miso & Sesame cooking paste makes for a mouthwatering weeknight dinner. What’s more, it could not be simpler or quicker to make at home.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Score the aubergine flesh in a cross-hatch pattern without cutting through the skin.
  3. Place on a lined tray, drizzle with oil, season, and bake until tender (about 25 minutes).
  4. Spread a tablespoon of Mizkan White Miso & Sesame paste over each half.
  5. Grill until caramelised and golden (about 5 minutes).
  6. Serve with rice and vegetables, garnished with spring onion, sesame seeds, and chilli. Enjoy!
