White Miso & Sesame-Glazed Baked Aubergine
Melt-in-the-mouth roasted aubergine topped with sweet and nutty Mizkan White Miso & Sesame cooking paste makes for a mouthwatering weeknight dinner. What’s more, it could not be simpler or quicker to make at home.

- 2 tbsp Mizkan White Miso & Sesame Cooking Paste
- 1 medium aubergine, halved
- 1 spring onion, to garnish
- White sesame seeds, to garnish
- 1 chilli, sliced, to garnish
- Oil, for cooking
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Score the aubergine flesh in a cross-hatch pattern without cutting through the skin.
- Place on a lined tray, drizzle with oil, season, and bake until tender (about 25 minutes).
- Spread a tablespoon of Mizkan White Miso & Sesame paste over each half.
- Grill until caramelised and golden (about 5 minutes).
- Serve with rice and vegetables, garnished with spring onion, sesame seeds, and chilli. Enjoy!
