White Miso & Sesame-Glazed Roast Chicken
This Mizkan White Miso & Sesame-glazed roast chicken recipe is the perfect way to add lots of incredible Japanese flavour to your family get-togethers.


Made using
White Miso & Sesame Cooking Paste
- 2 tbsp Mizkan White Miso & Sesame Cooking Paste
- 1 chicken, spatchcocked
- 1 spring onion, to garnish
- White sesame seeds, to garnish
- Oil, for cooking
- Salt and pepper, for seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Place the chicken on a lined baking tray, drizzle with oil, season, and roast for 30 minutes or until the skin is crisp.
- Spread the Mizkan White Miso & Sesame paste evenly over the chicken.
- Grill until the paste caramelises and the chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve with rice and vegetables, garnished with spring onion and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
