Yuzu Ponzu Marinated Steak
Marinating steak in Mizkan Yuzu Ponzu, with its well-crafted mixes of citrus and umami tones, is a delicious way to make steak night special. Just serve with noodles for a tasty Japan-inspired dinner.

Yuzu Ponzu
- 2 beef steaks (any cut but fillet, thick sirloin works well)
- 6 tbsp Mizkan Yuzu Ponzu, plus more to serve
- 1 sliced spring onion, to garnish
- White sesame seeds, to garnish
- Simple stir-fried egg noodles, to serve
- Pepper, to season
- Cover the steaks in the Mizkan Yuzu Ponzu and leave to marinate in the fridge overnight.
- Remove from the fridge at least 40 minutes before cooking.
- Pat the steaks dry with kitchen paper, season, and cook in a hot pan to medium-rare.
- Rest for 15 minutes, turning every couple of minutes.
- Slice and serve with noodles, topped with more Mizkan Yuzu Ponzu, spring onion, and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
